The Hollywood Institute was founded in 1963. In addition to Electrolysis training, the school provides classes in skin Care (Esthetics), and Nail Technology. The School is owned and operated by Fred and Ann Tosti. Previous to moving to Florida, Fred operated four Beauty Schools in the New York area. He has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1954. Ann has been an Electrologist and Esthetician since 1973. She is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine, Electrolysis Council and is Board Certified by the American Electrology Association and The Society of Clinical and Medical Electrologists. Ms. Tosti is chairman of Education for the Electrolysis Association of Florida and serves as an Electrolysis Consultant for the Florida Dept. of Business and Professional Regulation. Her dedication to her profession is supported by the many successful graduates currently working in the field. The Hollywood Institute offers 300 - 600 Hours of training in Electrolysis, 260 - 300 hours in Skin Care & Esthetics, and 240 hours in Nail Technology.
